$1.5M Grant to Help Develop Exceptional Leaders in Math Education
Thanks to $1.5 million in federal funding from the National Science Foundation, plus another $250,000 in support supplied by private donors, researchers at UConn’s Neag School of Education and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, as well as the Connecticut State Department of Education, are now forging a path to ensure that students receive high-quality instruction in math. Math Teacher Leaders Program Kickoff Set for March 19
This March, the Noyce Connecticut Math Teacher Leaders (MTL) Program will kick off its five-year project with a gathering in Connecticut featuring several guest speakers, introducing its MTL Fellows, and sharing information on the program’s timeline and logistics.

3 New Haven Teachers Chosen for Noyce Math Teacher Leader Program
Three New Haven teachers were chosen for the Noyes Math Teacher Leader Program, a five-year professional learning and service program intended to expand Connecticut's capacity to advance more equitable mathematics education, according to the school district.
